One thing that I can say is that denim is one of my “go to” comfort looks. Well, Banana Republic upped the ante with their new comfortable Banana Republic Denim Collection; and yes, it is, indeed, comfortable.
The first piece that grabbed my attention was the Denim Sheath Dress. It’s always good to have a nice casual dress, and this is one of the best denim dresses I have ever had! The material stretches in all the right places and is snug and cozy at the same time.
The denim pants in this new collection have quickly made it to the top of my list of favorite Banana Republic pants. What I love most about them is that (while made of denim) they aren’t jeans, and this is great for me because I’m not a big fan of traditional jeans.
All of the pants in the Banana Republic Denim Collection come in the standard Banana Republic Fits, which are Sloan, Avery, Ryan, and Logan.
The type of denim they use in these pants is the same that Banana Republic uses for their standard flex fit stretch denim jeans. This is partially what gives them their comfort and stretch but allows them to keep their form, even after a long day. (no saggy bottoms here!)
For my body type, I prefer the Sloan fit, which sits below the waist, is fitted through the hip and thigh, and is ankle length. I love that the Sloan fit is easy to dress up or down, and all of the fits are just a little more fun in denim. You can wear any of them with a button down for casual work Friday or with just a t-shirt for a more playful look.
In these pictures, I decided to pair them with only the Banana Republic Denim Schoolboy Blazer and a pair of Vince Camuto Maurita Denim Espadrille Wedge Sandals (PS- 50% off right now…). I think it gave the outfit an edgy and sexy look, which is sometimes hard to do with standard denim.
If you haven’t tried any of these Banana Republic pant fits, you should. Now you can even have a little more fun with them now available in denim.
